The China Athletics Association released the “Implementation Rules for the Management of the National Athletics and Field Race Tournament Management” on the 23rd (hereinafter referred to as the “Rules”).

    The “Rules” clearly requires that the athletes and auxiliary personnel who have violated the rules of the race, etc., according to the serious circumstances, make the following processing:

    Commented education;

    Order to check;

    Report criticism;

    Cancel the qualifications for the selection of sports morality awards for this event;

    Cancel the qualifications and results of the competition for this sports event;

    Limit entering this game and training venue;

    It is forbidden to participate in one or above the national track and field events;

    It is forbidden to participate in the national track and field competition for 1-4 years or life -long prohibition.

    In accordance with relevant national regulations, submit a blacklist for included in the sports market;

    Transfer to judicial organs for processing.

    For referees who have violated the rules of the game, the following processing is made according to the severity of the circumstances:

    Commented education;

    Order to check;

    Report criticism;

    Cancel one or more qualifications for event;

    Request awards (reward titles, bonuses, prizes, etc.);

    Forbidden ruling for 1-4 years or life -prohibit tailoring;

    Reduce and revoke the technical level of referees;

    The recommendation unit shall not participate in the bidding and hold national track and field events within 4 years;

    In accordance with relevant national regulations, submit a blacklist for included in the sports market;

    Transfer to judicial organs for processing.

    The “Rules” will be implemented on July 1, 2024.
